Safaa is a master student at PSUT. Her major is Information System Security and Digital Criminology. She loves her major very much, it is very interesting and challenging at the same time.
Safaa was a teacher assistant for Data Structures course in PSUT. She loves helping people in order to arrive to their goals, and her work as a teacher assistant allowed her to help students who failed this course many times. She succeed in helping the students who were willing to do their best in order to pass the course, but unfortunately, she thinks she has failed with students who did not want to do much efforts in order to pass.
Safaa’s knowledge in programing languages is excellent, and she has a good knowledge in problem solving. She has participated in the Jordanian Collegiate Programming Contest (JCPC) before three years. Her team ranked twelfth among 80 teams.
Safaa’s teaching style does not have a clear lineaments. Her style depends on many factors like students’ ages, their level of understanding, their passion to learn, and many other factors related to the course time and the material that should be covered in the course. She is interested in encouraging student participation and adapting their presentations to include various learning styles. She expects from students to take some responsibility for learning what they need to know and for asking for help when they do not understand something.
